My To Do List
So, I seriously have to admit that I am a complete and total PROCRASTINATOR!!
Like, no joke. I have been engaged for almost two years, and I am just NOW planning my wedding... I think it's because I thought that I had all the time in the world, but now that my world is coming to reality, I am seeing that I needed to get my planning done LONG before now.
What I am finding out, is that a lot of people (especially those who are in the wedding party) will tell me that this is my wedding, and that if I choose something that someone happens to not like, that they should just deal with it, or not be apart of the wedding. Well.. those same people are usually the ones that start to complain, or tell me what I should or shouldn't do.
For Robert and I's wedding, I wanted to be fair to the others that wanted to stand by me in choosing their dresses, and even who they were going to walk down the aisle with, but as I started to realize, a lot of them didn't communicate with me. Then when they did, it was always a complaint. Either the dress was the wrong color, or the dress was the wrong length, or the person they were walking down the aisle with, was not who they wanted to walk down with. But you know what? I can change the whole dress situation, but for the people who are in my wedding party, they can only walk down with who is available.
I have also been told who I should or shouldn't have help me plan my wedding. I don't want to say anything to them, because they are important to me and I care about what they have to say. But really? I am having to plan this with little to no help, and you are telling me who I can or can't have help me? Bish, you need to check yourself.
This is my TO DO list, people who are on it will NOT change unless the decision is made by myself or my fiance. If things in this list DOES decide to change, it is because of my choice, not someone elses.
